SMVQG June Program

At the June meeting we’ll have a Granny’s Attic, a trunk show from two of our members, and a

potluck. Bonnie also reminds us, “Summer would be a great time to make some ornaments for the

upcoming Altrusa tree.  There will be a few ideas at the meeting to inspire you.”

AACQG June Program

Our surprise speaker is a guild member with some very special surprises from the past. This should bring back some fond memories for the Charter/long time members. The new members as well will surely like seeing some of the things from past guild meetings. I don’t want to ruin the surprise and give out tooo much information. Be sure to come and join the fun. I do hope you will be as delighted to see what she has, as I was.  And yes, there will be “Show and Tell”.

AACQG Member's Quilts

Class project by several members

Barn Quilts

John Lettau taught a series of painting barn quilts on wood blocks. Several members attended and painted their own blocks. Thank you John, we look forward to more workshops!

May Show & Tell

Guild members create beautiful quilts. This unique one was made by Barbara Williams. Check our monthly newsletter for images of more lovely quilts.

Graduation Quilt

This pattern, Chopstix, was a class taught by Bobbie Jones. The quilt name is Starlight/Starbright and is a graduation gift for Bobbi Gilman's granddaughter, Lexi.

Charity Quilt

One of several comfort quilts donated to CASA, this one by Daryleen Noble.

A Work of Art

This beauty was crafted by guild member, Sue Mandler. The embroidered blocks were made many years ago and Sue turned them into an artistic quilt.
